Day 1: Split to Trogir

Discover the Roman Emperors favourite spot for ‘down-time’ in Split by exploring the virtual walk-through museum of Diocletian’s Palace and learn about its unique role in history. You will be enchanted by its charm and heritage.

Arriving in Trogir, you will discover a treasure cove of cultural and historical monuments dating back as far as 4th Century BC. Set on a small island, the tiny city is surrounded by daunting city walls protecting the narrow streets in the picturesque town. Visit the St Lawrence Cathedral with a 13th Century Romanesque portal, the old city hall and the Kamerlengo tower on the waterfront before heading back to the ship.

Day 2 & 3: Hvar (visit Vis, Island Susac and Lastovo)

New and old go side by side in the Hvar, the sunniest (and coolest) place in Europe! Visit the largest square in Dalmatia ringed by Gothic and Renaissance palaces and stroll up to the fortress for awe-inspiring sights. See the 17th Century bell tower, Monasteries and the mighty 13th Century Arsenal-turned-Hvar Theatre that is today the oldest theatre in Europe dating back to 1612.

Vis Island, separated by the Channel of Hvar, has always been an island of fishermen and winegrowers. Kormiza on the island is not only a cradle of fishing in the Adriatic, but also where, it is said, the first grape vine in Dalmatia was planted by ancient Greeks.

Island Susac will fascinate you with its beauty and its intensive feeling of detachment from the rest of the world. Perfect to find profound peace and silence whilst looking out at the vast open sea views.

A genuine heaven for lovers of nature, sailing, good food and wine and fishers who angle for tuna and other trophy fish, Lastavo is more than meets the eye with 46 small islands, 46 churches and chapels and 46 vineyards! Its untouched beauty was enough for its archipelago to be made a nature park.

Day 4 & 5: Dubrovnik (and visit Mljet)

Dubrovnik is rightly labelled as the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’ and is one of the most beautiful stone- built cities in the world. Its vast history is reflected in every part of the city with monuments and charm making UNESCO declare it a World Heritage Site. Stroll down the Stradun, explore the cafés in the side streets, walk along the city walls or ride the funicular up Srd Hil for spectacular views.

Visit Mljet, the greenest island in the Adriatic, and see why it is mentioned in the famous epic poem ‘Odyssey’. You will be fascinated by the untouched nature and beauty of the Great and Small Lakes. The ancient Roman palace and the Benedictine Monastery in the heart of the Great Lake, that can be reached by a small boat, supplements the luxurious natural beauty.

Day 6: Korcula (visit Tisno and Brela)

Explore the Old Town of Korcula, the beautiful secluded part of the world where Marco Polo called home. There is more than 2000 years of history and it has resisted numerous sieges to become a living monument for you to discover. Walk the narrow shady cobblestone streets and marvel at the Cathedral of St. Marko and see the remnants of its time under the rule of different empires.

Visit Tisno and see the church of St. Martin in Ivinje with excavations dating back to the 2nd Century, as well as Brela resort with its crystalline sea and 6 km long naturally sandy beaches.
